Miss Lehi's Teen Places 3rd Runner-Up at State Competition

Miss Lehi's Teen 2024, Desiree McKinnon, competed on the state stage last weekend, Feb 14-15. She was the recipient of a Preliminary Award for her Talent and took 3rd Runner-Up. Desi was also awarded the Top Overall Vocalist Award, scoring the highest out of all the vocalists competing. Desi was electric and lit up the stage through each phase of the competition. Desi competed in private interview, lifestyle & fitness, talent, evening gown and on-stage question.

Desi has been competing in the Miss America Organization for the past 5 years. In total, Desi has accumulated over $15,000 in scholarships during this time. Her list of other accomplishments include:

The Miss Lehi's Teen Organization and Lehi City are proud to have had Desiree represent them at the State level. Her directors, Jennifer and Caitlin Thomas, said,

"Desi is one of the most phenomenal humans we have ever met. She is strong, poised, and above all, kind to everyone. Watching her and celebrating her at Miss Utah’s Teen was so much fun. She lights up the stage with her energy and cute dimpled smile!! She is a friend to everyone and would cheer on every other girl as they competed as well.
