Desiree McKinnon Represents Miss Lehi's Teen Organization and Lehi City at State Competition

Due to changes with the age eligibility guidelines, Desiree (Desi) McKinnon represented the Miss Lehi's Teen Organization at the Miss Utah's Teen Competition earlier this year. She competed with the title of "Miss Lehi City's Teen." Desi was a fantastic representative of our program and of her city while there. Desi competed in all areas of competition- Private Interview, Lifestyle & Fitness, Talent and Evening Wear & On-stage Conversation. Desi was awarded the preliminary awards for both Talent and Evening Wear for her group. She was also awarded 2nd Runner-Up overall.

Desi has worked so hard and was ecstatic about her accomplishments, especially the Talent preliminary award. Desi is a self-taught ventriloquist and has been training on her vocals for months leading up to this competition. Her talent blew everyone away! We are so incredibly proud of Desi for everything that she accomplished last month, and throughout her year. We are so proud of not just what she does, but also who she is. Thank you Desi for your dedicated service and hard work. We cannot wait to see where you continue to go from here.
